Setup Guide

Now, let’s dive into the step-by-step configuration guide to set up Mobilo → Salesforce automation successfully.  

  1. Connect Mobilo with Salesforce 

    1. Log in to Mobilo. 

    2. Navigate to Integrations → Native Integrations → Salesforce

    3. Select your environment: 

      1. Sandbox → for testing. 

      2. Production → for live usage. 

    4. Click Continue to establish the connection. 

  2. Configure Authentication 

    1. To authenticate Mobilo with Salesforce: 

      1. Auth Endpoint: https://<your-instance>.salesforce.com/services/oauth2/token 

      2. Parameters (all String type): 

        1. username → Salesforce Username 

        2. password → Salesforce Password + Security Token 

        3. client_id → Consumer Key (Connected App) 

        4. client_secret → Consumer Secret (Connected App) 

        5. grant_type → password 

    2. Headers: 

      1. Content-Type = application/x-www-form-urlencoded 

    3. Save and generate the access token

  3. Create New Automation in Mobilo 

    1. Go to Automation → New Automation

    2. Choose Trigger: New Lead

    3. Confirm Mobilo is auto-selected. 

    4. Skip optional steps and proceed. 

  4. Configure API Request for Lead Creation 

    1. Add an Action → API Request

    2. Choose your Salesforce connection. 

    3. Request Method: POST 

    4. Endpoint: https://<your-instance>.salesforce.com/services/data/vXX.X/sobjects/Lead/ 

    5. Field Mapping: 

      1. First Name → mobilo_new_lead.firstName 

      2. Last Name → mobilo_new_lead.lastName 

      3. Email → mobilo_new_lead.email 

      4. Phone → mobilo_new_lead.phone 

      5. Company → mobilo_new_lead.company 

      6. Country → Used for record type selection 

      7. Sales BA → Assigned if provided 

    6. Request Headers: 

      1. Content-Type = application/json 

      2. Authorization = Bearer <access_token> 

    7. Response Parameters: 

      1. id → Salesforce Lead ID 

      2. success → Success Flag 

      3. errors → Validation Errors 

  5.  Save & Activate 

    1. Click Save

    2. Click Start at the bottom of the page to activate automation. 

  6.  Test & Validate 

    1.  Submit a sample form in Mobilo. 

    2. Check Salesforce for the new Lead record. 

    3. Validate: 

      1. Country → correct Record Type assigned. 

      2. Lead Source = Mobilo. 

      3. BA assignment applied correctly. 

      4. Review logs in Mobilo Automation Log Screen for API request/response details.
