Know how much time your team actually spends in Salesforce.

TrazNow brings record-level time tracking directly into Salesforce, helping teams capture the time spent working on Cases, Work Orders, Opportunities, and other Salesforce records. Start, pause, resume, and stop tracking from the record itself, with time captured and stored in Salesforce for reporting and analysis.

The problem

Salesforce shows what your team works on.
But does it show how long it takes?

Support agents work on Cases. Field technicians work on Work Orders. Sales representatives work on Opportunities. But when you need to understand how much time is actually being spent on that work, the answer is often based on estimates, manual timesheets, or information reconstructed after the work is finished — a visibility gap TrazNow closes by bringing time tracking into the Salesforce workflow itself.

01
What Salesforce Already Shows You

How many Cases were handled, how many Work Orders were completed, and how many Opportunities were worked on.

02
What It Often Doesn't Show You

A reliable record of the active time spent on each one — left to estimates, manual timesheets, or details reconstructed after the work is already finished.

The solution

Track time where the work happens

TrazNow is a Salesforce time tracking solution that captures active work time directly against Salesforce records. Instead of asking users to maintain a separate timesheet or remember how long they spent on a task, TrazNow places a live timer within the Salesforce experience they already use — users can start, pause, resume, and stop it, and the resulting sessions and time entries are recorded in Salesforce, connected to the relevant record and user.

One Salesforce workflow. One place for the work and the time.

How it works

From Salesforce record to actionable time data

01
Configure Your Salesforce Objects

Administrators configure TrazNow for the objects that matter — Cases, Work Orders, Opportunities, and custom objects — and can define tracking criteria so the timer appears only when specific record conditions are met. Example: track time only when a Case reaches a specific working status.

02
Configure How Tracking Works

Choose the session mode that fits your org. Restricted Mode helps prevent simultaneous tracking across multiple locations; Enhanced Mode supports synchronized tracking across multiple tabs, browsers, and supported devices.

03
Track Time Directly From the Record

A user selects Start, and the timer records the active work period against the record. If work is interrupted they can Pause and Resume when they return, and select Stop once finished.

04
Capture Every Tracking Session

TrazNow records the overall session as well as individual tracking segments, maintaining the individual periods created through starting, pausing, resuming, and stopping the tracker — not just a final total.

05
Review Time Inside Salesforce

Tracked information is stored in Salesforce and used through reports and dashboards, so teams can review tracked time across records and users to better understand operational effort.

Key features

Built for record-level time tracking
in Salesforce.

Configurable objects and tracking conditions, session controls built for real interruptions, and reporting that stays connected to the Salesforce records it relates to.

Automatic Record-Level Time Tracking

Capture time while work is happening instead of reconstructing it later, connected to the actual Salesforce record rather than a standalone timesheet.

Standard & Custom Objects

Configure time tracking for the objects relevant to your business, so one solution can support workflows across Service, Field Service, Sales, and more.

Start, Pause, Resume & Stop

Simple controls for managing active work sessions, so users can account for interruptions without losing the context of the work being tracked.

Criteria-Based Tracking

Define conditions that determine when the tracker should be available, keeping time tracking relevant to the right records and processes.

Detailed Session Tracking

Session and session-entry information is maintained, so teams can understand individual periods of activity rather than a single total.

Parent-Level Time Visibility

Tracked time from related records can roll up to a parent — for example, time from multiple Cases summarized against the associated Account.

Restricted & Enhanced Modes

Choose the tracking behavior that fits how users work across tabs, browsers, and devices.

Built for Real-World Interruptions

Logout, browser closure, navigation, and Salesforce session timeout are handled according to the configured tracking behavior, so sessions have defined behavior even when a timer isn't manually stopped.

Salesforce Reports & Dashboards

Use captured time data within Salesforce reporting, so managers can analyze tracked activity alongside the data they already use.

Mobile Support

TrazNow supports Salesforce Mobile and can be configured for Field Service Lightning mobile through a Quick Action.

Configurable User Experience

Customize timer appearance — colors, fonts, and sizing — so it fits naturally into your existing Salesforce interface.

Multi-Language Support

TrazNow supports 35 languages, so teams operating across different languages get a localized tracking experience.

Business benefits

Turn Salesforce work into measurable time data.

TrazNow turns the work already happening in Salesforce into structured, reportable time data — without asking your team to leave the records they already work in.

01 Replace Estimates With Recorded Time

Get a clearer picture of how much active time is being spent on Salesforce records instead of relying entirely on estimates or memory.

02 Reduce Manual Time Entry

Users can track time directly within Salesforce rather than maintaining a separate record of their work time.

03 Improve Operational Visibility

Understand the effort associated with Cases, Work Orders, Opportunities, and other tracked records.

04 Keep Time Data Connected to Salesforce

Because tracking information is maintained within Salesforce, teams can analyze time alongside the business records it relates to.

05 Support Better Planning

Recorded handling time can provide useful information for operational discussions around workload, staffing, and service processes.

06 Adapt to Different Salesforce Workflows

Object-based configuration lets you extend tracking across different teams and processes without treating every use case as a separate solution.

Why track time in Salesforce

Keep the work and the time together

Traditional time tracking often separates the work record from the time record. TrazNow connects them — that connection gives teams context around the time they are measuring.
