Your Salesforce files. Living in any cloud you choose.

FileTranz moves Salesforce files to external cloud storage and helps reduce Salesforce storage usage.

The problem

Storage is expensive.
Files are scattered.

Every attachment, contract, and scanned invoice adds to your Salesforce org's storage bill, and juggling separate cloud accounts on top of that only adds friction for your teams.

01
Storage Costs Climb

Salesforce storage can become expensive as files accumulate. Keep large files outside Salesforce and use your storage more efficiently.

02
Files Live in Silos

Important files can become scattered across Salesforce and other storage systems, making them harder to manage.

03
No Single Access Policy

Managing file access across users and teams can become difficult without centralized control.

04
Migration Is Painful

Moving files out of Salesforce manually can mean time-consuming exports, scripts, and risky processes.

Connectors

One connector. Any cloud. Zero extra logins.

FileTranz sits inside Salesforce and routes files to the storage provider your organization already trusts — Amazon S3, Microsoft OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive, or any other external cloud storage system — without changing how your users work.

See FileTranz in Action

In short: a file is uploaded on a Salesforce record, FileTranz routes it to your connected cloud storage, and the team keeps working from the same record page — no separate login, no separate app.

How files move

How Your Files Move

FileTranz securely moves files from Salesforce to your connected cloud storage while keeping them accessible when you need them.

01
Capture

Files are created or uploaded on a Salesforce record.

02
Route

FileTranz applies your configured storage rules.

03
Store

Files are securely stored in your selected cloud.

04
Access

Users keep accessing files from the Salesforce record.

Scope note

FileTranz is not enabled for bidirectional sync. Files can only be uploaded from Salesforce to your connected cloud storage. Uploading a file directly into your cloud storage and expecting it to sync back into Salesforce is not part of the current scope.

Viewing a file

Read-only, straight from storage

Clicking a file name doesn't sync anything back into Salesforce. FileTranz uses the file mapping maintained in the backend to give the user read-only access to the file directly from cloud storage.

Downloading a file

Delivered in its original format

Clicking download pulls the file's data from cloud storage and delivers it to the user's local machine in the original source file format.

Why teams trust it

Same experience. Any storage.

FileTranz separates where files live from how people use them. Content goes to the cloud provider your organization already trusts; metadata stays in Salesforce as an External Files record linked to the parent record.

01 Salesforce sharing model honoured

If a user can't see the record, they can't see its files. CRUD and FLS apply to External Files.

02 Encrypted credentials

Connection credentials for S3, OneDrive, SharePoint, or Google Drive are stored encrypted in Salesforce and never exposed to end users.

03 TLS 1.2+ on all traffic

Optional server-side encryption (such as SSE-S3 or SSE-KMS) protects objects at rest where the provider supports it.

04 Least-privilege access

Use a dedicated service account or IAM user scoped to a single bucket or library, limited to Put, Get, and Delete.

05 Complete audit log

Activity and error logs are stored as Salesforce records and remain queryable and reportable.
