Salesforce Certification Name Changes
As we know already Salesforce is migrating their certification platforms from Webassessors to their own platform named Trailhead Academy effective from July 21, 2025. Along with this transition, Salesforce decided to change its certification names to provide a consistent naming convention across their certification catalog. Here are the things we must know about this changes.

- This change will be applicable from July 21, 2025.
- You no need to re-appear your earned certifications despite this name change.
- Your trailhead profile will be automatically updated with the new name.
- In the certification verification portal, certification names will be updated with the new name of your certifications along with the original date when your certification was earned.
- This name change will be automatically updated in your partner navigator score.
Conclusion
From this certification transitions we are no need to use multiple platforms to gain and maintain Salesforce certifications. Also, this name change will ensure to keep the naming of the credentials be more consistent.
