Launching of Salesforce Certification New Experience

Nowadays, Salesforce learners get their certification from various platforms like Webassessor for Salesforce certifications and Pearson Vue for Tableau, Mulesoft certifications. Now, Salesforce is going to massively update this process with its own platform, Trailhead Academy.

Currently, as Salesforce professionals, we are learning and preparing the Salesforce features on the Trailhead platform and completing the respective certifications on the other platforms such as Webassessor. After July 21, 2025, Salesforce will launch the biggest changes to Salesforce professionals, making it easier to get the respective certifications on a single platform.

In the future, Trailhead Academy is going to play a major role as a "Central Hub" for the following certifications,

• Salesforce

• Tableau

• Mulesoft

• Slack

• Accredited Professional

Here are the things what you can expect from this transition,

• They made it easy to maintain all kinds of certifications and shifted all types of current certifications from other platforms to Trailhead Academy. It could help us to register for the exam and maintain the completed exams to access them in a single hub.
• Trailhead Academy is going to perform like a centralized place with the feature of a personalized dashboard, with training recommendations and a 360-degree certification view for the trailblazers.
• Only the vouchers of unused and non-expired vouchers can be reused in the new experience. The test-taking process has an impact in different ways; most probably, the upcoming exams are going to be held in Pearson Vue.
• If you cancel your exam in Webassessor and used a voucher code that expires after July 21, 2025, you will be able to use that code to register for an exam in the new experience. If the code expires before July 21, you can't use it to register.
• In the new experience, we can able to do the exam registration via mobile is acceptable. Attending the exam on a mobile is not allowed in the new experience.
• It consists of a personalized home page with the exams and training modules. Also able to apply filters that could be based on the Role, Products, and skills.
• We need to ensure that the Webassessor/Tableau email is only given to the newly created Trailblazer account in the new experience.
